NYS Public Health Law, Section 2164 requires that no person in charge of a school shall permit any child to attend school in excess of 14 days without providing a certificate of immunization against several communicable diseases.  Students transferring in from out of state will have 30 days.   In addition, these immunizations are mandated by NY State Education Law for attendance to public school.
